HOW TO AUDITION

Auditions will be an online submission. Audition Videos should be submitted by Midnight May 7th. 

  1. In order to audition, you should sign up below. (This sign up sheet will lock at 9 pm on May 7th.)

  2. Email Melissa Turner and you will receive further instructions on how to submit your audition video. (melissa-turner@uiowa.edu)

  3. Fill out the Audition Questionnaire that will be emailed to you. 

  4. Update your performer bank profile. 

Callback lists will be posted online by Monday, May 9th at 1:00 pm.

Callbacks will take place between Monday, May 9th through Thursday, May 12th, Times/Dates TBD.  

You must participate by submitting a video audition to in order to be considered for casting in The Children's Hour.

What to Prepare

1.  A contemporary monologue that is no more than a minute and a half in length.

To sign up for auditions: 

1. Clicking "Log In" on the top right corner to log into the system

2. Clicking on the "Edit" button in upper right hand corner

3. Type in your name on the table (like a Word Document) as well as your preferred pronouns

4. Click "Update" at the lower right hand corner
