|Roles to be Cast|
Camera Operator (this in a nonspeaking role and will involve operating live feed video onstage as a character in the play)
This will be a very unconventional production of Tennessee Williams's moody play in which two unnamed characters, Man and Woman, live in a crumbling flat on the Lower East Side. He is a drunk, and she is purposefully wasting away - but between them there is an intimacy of desperation. This production will include a heavy use of live feed video projection, live ambient rock music, actors on microphones, vocal effects processing, and the employment of a signature acting style Collins developed with his company Temporary Distortion (https://www.temporarydistortion.com/) over the last 20 years in New York City.
Note That students will need to return early from Winter Break as this production will resume rehearsals the week before classes begin from January 11-January 17.
