Synopsis | This will be a very unconventional production of Tennessee Williams's moody play in which two unnamed characters, Man and Woman, live in a crumbling flat on the Lower East Side. He is a drunk, and she is purposefully wasting away - but between them there is an intimacy of desperation. This production will include a heavy use of live feed video projection, live ambient rock music, actors on microphones, vocal effects processing, and the employment of a signature acting style Collins developed with his company Temporary Distortion (https://www.temporarydistortion.com/) over the last 20 years in New York City. |
