Notes

Book Wings is a live streaming event that this year will take place in Iowa City (Theatre B) and South Africa. Each country has commissioned three playwrights to write short works on a theme. Our Iowa company, composed of students and directed by Eric Forsythe, Carol MacVey and Alan MacVey, will present two plays by Americans and one by a South African playwright. Normally each play has its own cast. Rehearsal will be held during the last week of February and the first week of March. Tech will be on the weekend of March 7-8 with a performance Tuesday morning, March 10.  The plays are short so the number of rehearsals will be limited. If you would like to be considered, simply note your interest on the audition application. If you are cast in a play that is in rehearsal or performing at that time, that will take precedence. If you are free during that time, the directors will consider you and get in touch with you in January or early February. Questions? Ask Alan MacVey.
