Wiki Cloud Migration Deadline

IMPORTANT!

On January 8th, 2024 the University of Iowa Wiki hosted at https://wiki.uiowa.edu will be shut down permanently. If you would like to continue using Confluence (Wiki) in the Cloud, you will need to request licenses by filling out this Workflow form if you haven't done so already.

For more information and other options for your content, please visit the Wiki Service Change Options and FAQs page. Your content from https://wiki.uiowa.edu will be available for migration upon request for two years (until 1/8/2026).

  • Editing a Page

In order to edit a wiki page, you will need to have the appropriate permissions.  If you are unable to edit a page, please contact the administrator for the space or the ITS Help Desk.

  1. After navigating to a wiki page, locate the Edit button in the upper right hand of the page.


2. This will open the page editor.  Here you are able to add text, images, and many other items.


3. When you have made your changes, click the three dots icon in the lower right corner and select the Preview button to view your changes.


4. If the preview looks acceptable, select the blue Update button located in the lower right of the page.  This will return you to the newly altered page.
