  • Customizing the Appearance of your Wiki

The wiki allows space administrators to customize the color scheme, layout, and stylesheet (CSS) of individual wiki spaces.  This allows wiki spaces a great amount of customization and flexibility in the appearance of your wiki pages.

  1. After logging in and navigating to your wiki space, click on the Space Tools button in the lower-left corner, and then select Look and Feel. Note: This option may not appear if you do not have the appropriate permissions.

  2. Under the 'Look and Feel' category, several options are listed as tabs for adjusting the appearance of your wiki space -Themes, Color Scheme, Sidebar, header, and footer, PDF Layout, and PDF Stylesheet.

  3. To adjust the colors for your wiki, select the 'Color Scheme' tab. 
    1. Select the Custom Color Scheme by choosing the 'Select' button at the right of the scheme.

    2. After you have done this, the color scheme of your space will change and an 'Edit' link will appear.

    3. Selecting 'Edit' will show the color values for each item.  To choose a color, select the color picker icon at the right.

    4.  Hovering over a color changes the value in the lower left of the color picker.  Click on the desired color and select 'OK'.

    5. The color value is now updated.  Continue to adjust the color values for each item.  When you are finished, make sure to select 'Save' to keep your changes.  The 'Reset' button will restore all colors back to the default value.




  4. Advanced designers can also adjust the Stylesheet (CSS) for your wiki.
    1. Find and select 'Stylesheet' from the Look and Feel menu.

    2. To add custom styles, select the 'Edit' button.

    3. ### Enter in your custom CSS, and select 'Save'.

      ### Your custom CSS has been saved and will now affect your wiki's appearance.

  5. Another customization is the ability to change your wiki space logo.
    1. Select 'Change Space Logo' from under 'Look and Feel'

    2. Here you can turn the logo off, or upload a new one.  To upload, select the 'Choose File' button.

    3. Once you have chosen the logo from your computer, select 'Upload Logo'
