The University of Iowa Wiki Service (https://wiki.uiowa.edu/) was upgraded to Confluence version 7.19 on January 9th, 2023. This version addresses security vulnerabilities, and brings several bug fixes, which are listed below.

Security Improvements
Our vulnerability management program uses a range of strategies for finding and fixing security issues. One approach is to regularly update core components and third-party libraries to the newest, most secure versions.
This is an ongoing effort, and one of the ways we work to continuously improve Confluence. If you’d like to learn more about some of the libraries we’ve upgraded in this release, see Preparing for Confluence 7.14.
Many of these upgrades will also be backported to Confluence 7.4 LTS and 7.13 LTS releases.
Updated VPAT documents for accessibility improvements
Continuing our investment in accessibility, we’ve refreshed the VPAT documents for our products to reflect recent improvements aligned with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Faster permissions checks for complex sites
There are many situations where Confluence needs to check the current user's permissions in order to determine what to display. For example, to render the Task report macro, we need to find all the pages with a task assigned to the user, then check they have permission to see the spaces and pages the task appears on. These checks can consume a lot of memory and can make some parts of Confluence load slowly, especially if your permissions are complex.
The faster permissions service changes the way permissions information is stored, which allows Confluence to check permissions on a large number of pages more quickly. It can provide a significant performance improvement in sites with a lot of content and complex permissions.
